We have had some strange issues during the last days where some content of blog seems to turn out to be unpublished for without any reason ! after republishing entire site everything it come true !
So if I understand you correctly - some blogposts unpublished themselves, and after using the "republish entire site" the blogposts were published again? Is that correct?
If so, it might have been the XML cache that needed to be updated. Are you working on localhost, or just on a production site? Sometimes that can be a sync problem.
If not, can you have a look at the UmbracoLog and see if there's anything weird popping out? Also - Umbraco version?
