I am trying to get my head around the Umbraco classes. I am writing lots of partials, where I am listing content from other nodes. Asking Mr Google I seem to get hundreds of ways of doing it - none of which seem to work for me. Is it because of the different versions. Then there's the confusion of typed data and dynamic - adding another two ways of doing everything!
I'm a seasoned ASP.NET developer, with reasonable MVC, but there seems to be a chasm between basic Umbraco use and developer use.
Hi George,
Like you, I'm an ASP.net / MVC programmer cross-training to this - so I know where you're coming from!
I found the on-site documentation around this area the most helpful - Querying. Some of the video walkthroughs on Umbraco.tv are good too.
Good luck :-)

Any pointers greatfully received!!
