Large images appear as solid black image when uploaded
Hi, I'm using 7.2.8 and uploading a large image (2000px square) jpg (about 240KB). When the image is uploaded, Umbraco seems to create 3 files in the filesystem, one named the same as uploaded, plus a _thumb and _big-thumb. All of these images end up as a simple solid black square after upload, yet if I resize the file beforehand to 1000px square, for example, it seems to work fine.
It's not just this one image either, I've seen this quite a bit, although I can't say for sure if it happens "all the time".
Any ideas what might be causing this?
The client is keen to upload the images as 2000px square as we intend to allow zooming of the images in the future.
Sorry Alex, I've been through commit logs, emails and other notes from that time and can't find anything that suggests what I did to fix it.
I think I must have fixed it though, as I can see later conversations with the client, advising they (continue to) upload images at 2000px x 2000px, so it must have been working.
Unfortunately, that project is no longer live either, so I can't check to see if maybe I changed something on the server at that point.

Hi Adam
I see a similar problem now. Do you remember if you solved it?
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex,
I can't remember off hand, no, but I'll check my commits and see if I can work out what I did.
No promises I can find anything though.
Thanks
Adam

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks, looks like some issue with Azure+ImageProcessor
Thanks, Alex
Hi Alex,
I wasn't using Azure, by the way.
Thanks
