I have not been doing Umbraco projects for some time but in the middle of one now where I want to use a ascx usercontrol but can't get it to work because postbacks don;t work when in mvc setting. I already created tons of temples so don't want to change that.
I have been searching for a step-by-step help to get it working the mvc way but all way to complex to get t working on very short notice. I have read about the umbracosurfacecontroller and such.
Can anyone provide me simple project with a user control with a textbox and a button that actually do something and simple instruction how to put it in umbraco? It can't be this hard?!
Ubraco v7 - so ascx usercontrols don't work anymore. But how to do it now?
