    Not able to add TextString from the Grid

    Using Umbraco 7
    Umbraco 7

    Hi,

    I am using Umbraco 7.2.8 version.

    I have used Grid Layout for the content.

    But from the content page I am not able to add the TextString editor.

    I am not able see in the Row configuration as well. Please find below below screenshot.

    Hi there, has this worked for you in the past? It has always been my understanding that the default grid editors are those shown in your screen shots. If you wish to add another which presents a simple input text field then I would advise looking at the grid.editors.config file in ~/Config and duplicating the entry for quote. This grid editor also uses the text string field as an input device, you would then modify the value of the "markup" json property to display the value as you wish on the front end e.g

    "markup": "<p>#value#</p>"
