I am very new to Umbraco, and looking for an ORM for Umbraco 7.3. I have found two common ones: Petapoco and Glass Mapper. Does anyone have experience with the two who could explain the benefits/disadvantages of both?
Where I'm at now, I have limited experience with Glass in Sitecore and beginning to learn Umbraco 7. Glass seems to be more robust, but I do not have a hard comparison to make between Petapoco. Are there certain instances where Petapoco is simply a better/more lightweight tool than Glass? Is there cases where Glass is more useful than Petapoco?
Petapoco is really simple ORM, if you need to create just few tables it's perfect. Also you can use Dapper.
For large projects try to look in something more advanced like Entity.
