I'm using Umbraco 7.1.3, where a strange issue has turned up. We recently had database crash due to which site threw every one on error page. which was plausible.
But after the recovery of database , site continued to throw us on the same error page, which was strange.
It got resolved only after an iisreset.
My question is, whats causing this? even after site had an active sql connection why it redirected to same error page as if sql is still dead.
if such scenario comes in production , whats the best way to resolve it without manual intervention?
What is the best way of getting to the root of the cause and quickly fix this?
