Is it possible to play around with the new REST API if you don't have Visual Studio ?
I have a windows machine that runs umbraco solutions, but no visual studio.
Can I do it with WebMatrix ?
Ok, now I've tried with WebMatrix, and I'm not exactly positive :)
When I try to install the Umbraco REST API from the Nuget Gallery it tells me that I need at least Nuget 2.8.1.
But the latest version is 2.6.1 ? How is that possible ?

Is there a reason you wouldn't try VS 2015 Community Edition? Pretty sure it has everything you need and it's free! https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/products/visual-studio-community-vs.aspx
