The problem: Whenever anything is done in the Umbraco backend, the follow error gets repeated numerous times in the UmbracoTraceLog.txt:
[7] ERROR umbraco.library - [P3224/T1/D37] Could not retrieve current xml node
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
This happens when clicking/viewing pretty much anything in Umbraco: content, settings, developer options, etc. There are no apparently errors in the actual backend and content is published and viewable. It just appears to be in the log.
We did just delete everything out of the Recycle Bin (some of which were copies of our main content node, that had been created with the "relate to original" option checked), though there were no errors. Really confused what's causing this.
