I set a group based protection under the Public Access option for a page of mine .. it worked fine, but now when I go back to try to change it I just get the error shown in the screenshot ..
any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated?

Do you have a workaround to recommend for people that don't want to recompile the source?
I just need to remove the public access restriction, I considered doing it from the database but the node ids don't match so I don't think I'm looking in the right place.

yes as making the same change in the source code and recompiling the cms and businesslogic dlls has fixed this problem.

it was fixed in the next release shortly afterwards so should work now
