Hey All,
On a load balance set up where we've got 2 content instances and 1 admin, should we delete the "/umbraco/" directory on the non-content admin portal? I don't want clients accidently changing content on one of the slave instances.
Hi Jason,
I would recommend the approach I posted here https://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-7/using-umbraco-7/72207-disabling-access-to-umbraco-backoffice

Awesome will do. thanks @Jeavon.
I know in the past we just removed the entire directory but couldn't find anything on umbraco 7 for best practice.
You can do but I think that the rewrite rule is a neater approach and also means you don't have to remember to remove the folders
