    CreateDate not being stored as UTC time

    I notice in my setup that the createdate for nodes is being stored in the db as local server time and not UTC time .. is there any way of changing this?

    Not currently but it seems this long standing feature request is scheduled for v7.4.1! http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-265?preventRedirect=true

    Thanks, though I think that seems to be a slightly different issue. This one should be a server side issue only .. I can't imagine why it would not store dates in UTC though .. it would seem to be the only sensible choice in db storage.

    Yeah, the issue started out as the same thing but has been updated. It should be UTC, it's a historical issue and one that's difficult to change.
