How to install local packages automatic into Umbraco

    Hi,

We are creating different packages of different changes into our local environment and move / install these packages into our subsequent environment. Now i want to automate this step.

Is there any way to install package automatic into umbraco in different environment.

    Hi Ahsanullah,

Sadly, you can't install packages automatically.

    Hi Ahsanullah,

Are you creating packages to deploy changes to another environment? If so, have you considered using something like Courier or uSync to manage your deployments?

    /B.

    Hi Bijesh Tank,

Are you sure that Courier or uSync is installing packages automatically ?

Can you describe how to do it with uSync for example ?

They are a way of managing Umbraco changes through different environments. So rather than having to create packages, as Ahsanullah mentions (if I am correct in understanding), you can use these tools to sync things like doctypes, templates, etc...

    Thanks Bijesh, good suggestion.

Also great possibility for managing versions/deploying - Umbraco Service - https://umbraco.com/cloud

    Thanks, Alex

Thank you all, for your advise. As of now we are doing this by creating and installing package.

We will give a shot to suggested plugins, for our next release.

    Thanks,

    Ahsanullah
