    Criteria for hostname in URLs

    Using Umbraco 7

    Guys,

    We have 2 domains for our website, and both domains (eg. www.abc.com and www.abctech.com) are added under Culture and Hostnames. The first one in Culture and hostnames is abc.com and the second is abctech.com. When I'm navigating the website using abc.com and click in my menu items, it redirects to abctech.com. Doesn't Culture and Hostnames keep the default URL I was using before to be the base URL for the links?

    Hi Francielle,

    Are both of these domains attached to a single root node in the Umbraco tree structure or do you have two separate home pages?

    E.g.

    Home (www.abc.com, www.abctech.com)
==>Child 1
==>Child 2

    or 

    Home1 (www.abc.com)
==>Child 1
==>Child 2
Home2 (www.abctech.com)

    Hi Jason,

    Our tree structure is as follows: enter image description here

    PT-BR has 2 hostnames: www.abc.com/pt and www.abctech.com/pt

    EN-US has 2 hostnames www.abc.com/en and www.abctech.com/en

    So, concerning your question, it is option 1.
