    Examine search still indexing a media item that does not seem to exist in back office

    Hi,

    I am indexing the site and the media section. There is a pdf being indexed that I cannot find in the back office search to delete it? I have deleted the index and it reappears?

    Does anyone know what is going on here and how to remove it?

    Hi Damon

    Is it still in the recycle bin ?

    Try removing it from there and rebuilding the indexes.

    Which index ?

    If you go the the development section of the site, and locate examine management tab, use the external searcher to verify whether the file remains in the index or not.

    Also in the examine config settings, and the index you are using, have you got supportunpublished set to true ?
