I was wondering if we can use language Variants on Media in v8?
I added a Tag Property on Media Items of type "File". However, depending on the language, I want the tags to be translated.
Is this not (yet?) possible?
Maybe I should define a tag property for every langauge and add them to a different tag group. Then on my template display the tags from the tag group which corresponds to the chosen culture?
I changed my strategy. Instead of having a language variant on the media item, I chose to add a Document Type called "Publication" which has the Media Item as a property. The document type can thus have language variants.
This circumvents my initial "problem". Maybe that's the way it is meant to be done?

I've just tried the multi-language features in the Media section and like your idea.
In my case I would like to add multi-language titles to each media item.
Thanks
