    V8 compatible tool to import content from an existing MS SQL based content system into Umbraco

    I'm looking for a tool/process to import content from an existing non-Umbraco MS SQL based content system into Umbraco V8. CMSImport seems like it will do this, however, it does not yet support V8.

    Does anyone know of any alternatives to CMSImport that work with V8?

    Or, if there is any info or examples regarding creating custom SQL to properly import/insert content into Umbraco V8?

    Kevin, I saw that CMSImport is compatible with V7 and to benefit from the experience of that package with Umbraco CMS.

    I suggest to migrate your CMS to V7 then when ready move to V8.

    Kevin, in case you go with that suggestion I see selecting an answer may help the forum to appear active other than having many questions without a selected answer.
