    Umbraco 8 backend side menu

Somehow I did something to make the side menu auto hide. How do you get it to stay up all the time again?

    Hi Nick,

You should be able to drag it back out - if you move the cursor all the way to the left, it should change to a vertical bar with arrows on each side (this is different from the OS's "resize window" cursor).

    Does that help?

Hi Nick, another cause for the auto hide behaviour could be a small browser window width. Have you for example used the Windows feature to arrange two windows side by side to drag and drop media items or another reason? Umbraco 8 auto hides the sidebar, when the window width is less than 1100 pixels.

    Yours Dirk

That was it. My computers monitor is portrait I accidentally zoomed in to 110% so it made it too small. Thanks
