Membership in Umbraco 8

I would like to know if the membership section of Umbraco 8 works straight out of the box. Umbraco 7 membership had some issues. Have those issues been resolved in Umbraco 8?

I found two issues in V8, can you list some of those issues in V7?
1. V8.0.0 migrate member groups tree to new tree format.
2. V8.0.2 Bulk move members don't make sense.

What issues are you thinking of?

I have used it in multiple sites without any problems.
