    FYI. I ended up just using the Multi Url Picker data type as this gives one column of links, and then wrapped that around the Nested Column to get my full menu.

    For those still interested,

    I believe an Alpha release is due out soon via MyGet (it may have already been released I can't recall).

    Yes they are working on it, but they are looking to do some big improvements so this Alpha release is temporary.

    A professional partner-colleague of my, who works with us on a project that uses MegaNav, made it work for Umbraco 8 and did a pull request on github. Hopefully it's soon available for everybody who wants to use it.
