    Migrating content from 1 umbraco 8 installation to another

    Hi, i'm wondering if it's possible to migrate all your content from one Umbraco 8 installation, to another Umbraco 8 instance, with pre existing data (i.e. not a completely new installation)

    All i've been able to find is guide docs on upgrading from v7 to v8, but nothing mentioning migrating the necessary database info and template views, to another instance.

    Is there a standard way to do this, or is it not recommended to do at all ?

    Hi,

    You could just clone the db, if it’s a complete copy.

    Another option is to use uSync. The latest version can do what you ask for. Just export everything, copy the files to the new installation, and import them.
