    Install screen doesn't come on, when uploading Umbraco to server

    Hi guys

    I have downloaded Umbraco 7 and uploaded the files to the ftp server. The guide then says you just visit the main site and the "install screen" should show up, but all I'm getting is a 403 error messages and i don't have permission to acces the server. 

    Anyone who can tell me what I shall do?

    Did you setup right permissions to folders for your application ?

    Hi Thomas and welcome to our :)

    As Alex is saying above it's probably a permission issue you're facing. Did you read the instructions about how to install Umbraco manually? If not I'll recommend that you do so and you can find them here http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/install-umbraco-manually

    Also...which webhost are you using? And have you made certain that they support Umbraco? If you're using Unoeuro you sometimes need to get in touch with them to double check that the server configuration is setup correctly. However it usually just works.
