Umbraco Cloud - Media ID / Media Picker Missing Folders
Hi,
Im having an issue with Umbraco Cloud when I transfer my content and media to dev from local. Media created in local has a different ID as that in dev.
Its causing issues with the wrong images in the wrong places.
I dont know if this is related, but im also unable to use the media picker in the dev enviro. When I go to select an image, my media section structure is gone.
I transferred the media folders through the transfer queue function.
I think it may have been a cache issue, as when I tried it on another browser it seemed to work.
Im still having some other issues with images being the wrong ones.
IDs on media and content items are likely to change between environments as the ID is assigned incrementally. So unless everything is created in the exact same order they will change.
With regards to not being able to use the media picker: Did you set a start node/folder on your picker? As Dennis mentioned to there is an issue with this atm. We are working on fixing it though! For now the best thing to do is deselect the start folder.

Hi Martin,
How did you move media items from local to dev?
What did you do?
Did you do it via backoffice?
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex.

Thanks for your reply Alex

Did you use chrome?
I had a lot of problems with chrome cache.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Martin,
Are you using Archetype in your solution?
The important thing is that you also remember to add the dll file for Courier which you can find here. https://our.umbraco.org/FileDownload?id=16431
Thanks,
Alex
