Just as @Søren says, the only way to do that is to add IP(s) to the IP Whitelist from the Project's Settings. It is by design that Dev/Staging require authentication and it is not intended to be an optional feature - for public requests that is.
When your project is running in trial mode your live environment is protected with the basic authentication. The basic authentication will be removed when you pay for the project. Development and Staging environments are always protected with besic authentication
You can avoid basic authentication by whitelisting IP adresses for the appropriate environments. See IP Whitelist for more information.
Remove authentication from Dev/Staging environments
Does anyone know how to remove the password protection from a dev/staging site in Umbraco Cloud?
Am not sure you can.
You can whitelist IP's under Settings > Manage IP Whitelist on your project.

Thanks Paul!
The authentication popup also appears on our Live environment. Any idears on how to turn that off?
