Using the "Recommend Approach" for Visual Studio with VS 2012?
Hi,
I just tried setting up the "Recommend Approach" to using Umbraco with Visual Studio in Visual Studio 2012, and during the setup process handled by the Umbraco-provided setup exe, I got the following error
The "UmbracoCms.Core 7.8.1" package requires NuGet client version '3.4.4' or above, but the current NuGet version is '2.8.1.0'
There were a couple other similar errors with other NuGet packages, but I couldn't see what they were as the console window closed too fast.
I also get the following error in VS:
"NuGet Package restore failed for project Mistras.Core: 'Newtonsoft.Json' already has a dependency defined for 'Microsoft.CSharp'.."
Umbraco still successfully runs locally. Does anyone know if this is a problem? Can the "Recommended Approach" to using Umbraco with VS be safely done with VS 2012?
