    European free SMTP sever

folks, thanks in advance for the help.

I was originally thinking of using SendGrid as my free SMTP email server. 25k free emails per month, easy to use, can't beat it.

However, the default server location for SendGrid SMTP server is United States, which the boss doesn't like. So I'm here to find out if there any free SendGrid equivalents which have their servers in Europe. Ideally, North Europe.

    Cheers

    Hi Nitin,

have a look at the Amazon SES ( Simple Email Service ).

We use it in some of our projects and haven't payed anything for the last 3 years.

    Hope this helps!

    /Michaël

    Thanks Michaël.

Appologies, I should have mentioned that I'm using azure app service for my Umbraco CMS. Do you know if this will cause any issues?

    Nitin,

haven't tried it with Azure Apps but won't think it will cause issues.

In Amazon you just create a smtp server with credentials which you then need to set in your smtp settings of Umbraco that's it.

    Hope this helps!

Hey Michael, I ended up exploring the idea of using mailjet which has European servers. I didn't looked into amazon SES but I guess would have worked as well.
