Where might we track status of HTTP2 support in Umbraco Cloud? I fully understand that the capabilities are there if our client wanted to use CloudFlare - but there are always going to be cases where someone doesn't want to use it for 1 reason or another.
Is there a "roadmap" for Umbraco Cloud, an issue tracker, anything to stay up to date on this particular feature?
Has Umbraco considered UserVoice (or adding similar functionality to Our / or the Issue Tracker)?
HTTP2 on Umbraco Cloud
Azure web apps now supports HTTP2.
If i'm correct Cloud runs on web apps.
So are there any plans to support this ?
Dave
We don't run on Web Apps :)
We also can't run on Server 2016 yet, so no http2 support coming any time soon I'm afraid.
I found in the meanwhile on what you are running : https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Umbraco-Cloud/Frequently-Asked-Questions/#on-what-kind-of-server-environment-does-my-cloud-site-run
In the mean time, if you want http2 now you can always run the site behind cloudflare.

We'll make noise once we move to new server infrastructures, but this unfortunately is not in the cards for quite a long time yet.
I'm not sure what we need uservoice for, we have issue trackers for everything :-)
It's been a long time (technologically speaking). Has Umbraco moved to the new server infrastructure that you mentioned? Has HTTP/2 been implemented ?
We're getting close (ETA: March 2021): https://umbraco.com/blog/the-future-of-umbraco-cloud/
is working on a reply...
