    Schema mismatch

    I am getting Schema mismatch issues when I try and deploy my content changes to live, via the Umbraco UI, most of the error messages are saying that I don't have a property or the Allowed child content types are different.

    As I understand it, when I check in my code these schema changes should be applied. I have tried to make a minor change to my document type, push it to GIT to force it to deploy the changes, but when I log on to live I can see the document types are not being updated.

    Any ideas? Here are some of the error messages.

    Document type Page Components Folder with alias 'pageComponentsFolder'

    Allowed child content types are different.
    
    Document type Hero Root with alias 'heroRoot'

    Logged on to portal and I can see an error saying...

    The last umbraco data extraction failed on this environment. I'm guessing I need to contact support? Unless anyone knows how I can fix this my self?

    Hi Ayo,

    The Cloud support team are pretty damn good, so yeah I'd drop them a line.

    However, quick question..

    How many environments do you have set up on your Cloud project? Is it just Live? Or have you got Dev/Staging as well?

    You need focus on the reason for the failed data extraction. Do you have more details (error information) in your Umbraco cloud control panel? In most cases you should be able to make the necessary corrections on your own without contacting support (although support might be faster?).
