site down again

Hi All For the second time our site has gone down. I have no access to anything. I am not the developer. Due to differences, we no longer have a working relationship with them.

Question: Does this happen often? And why?

I previously designed and maintained a site using DW and never had the site go down (over ten years with the same hosting provider.)

Hi,

I would suggest you use the chat / support in umbraco cloud if you have any issues with the platform - after all, that is what you pay for :)

Regarding umbraco stability, it is very much up to the implementation. A simple site created on umbraco cloud with just a starter kit installed, should never have any issues.

If you don't have a relationship with the developers, did you at least get a dump of the source code of the site?

Thanks Soren, No, we did not get anything from the developers. :-( I can't even get in to the editing site.
