Just to understand it. So this means that this authentication can only be done by the login that created the website - and not CMS-users inside the CMS. Cause' these users are set to Administrators, but none of the users can log into the umbraco.io portal.
Local clone does'nt work
Hey,
We have some issues with making a local clone via git.
We have tried severeal users, but it just give us this error.
Can you help?
Hi Mikkel,
Looks like that Git can authenticate with the user name and password that you are using.
Can you please make sure that you are using the same username and password that you are using when logging into umbraco.io.
Also, please double check that your user on the project in the umbraco.io portal has at least the write role as described here https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/Umbraco-Cloud/Set-Up/Team-Members/#team-member-roles
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
Hi Dennis,
Thank you for your help.
Just to understand it. So this means that this authentication can only be done by the login that created the website - and not CMS-users inside the CMS. Cause' these users are set to Administrators, but none of the users can log into the umbraco.io portal.
Kind regards,
Mikkel
Hi Mikkel,
Yes, it's only team members who are added in the umbraco.io portal and with admin or write rights that can clone the project down.
Users that are added directly in the backoffice can only work with content and transfer content between the environments from the backoffice.
Hope this helps,
/Dennis
Thank you very much, Dennis. It was very helpful!
