We have started playing with Umbraco Forms and think it is pretty awesome!
However we noticed it stores the data in a file system and hence it will only be available in the Master Server / Adminstration server. and does not work on a load balanced environment - if this is so how can we streamline this?
I would like to contribute to making this happen so we can store in the database or s3 storage or atleast make it customizable to where this can be stored.
Try to see this issue from the issue tracker. http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/CON-895 So this is something that we be available in the release of Umbraco Forms.
Unfortunately I am not able to get you an exact date on when the Umbraco 4.2.2 version we be final release.
Any idea of the progress of 4.2.2? My client is keen to implement Umbraco Forms in their sites but lack of proper load balancing support is preventing them from commiting just yet.

Hi Mohammed,
Try to see this issue from the issue tracker. http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/CON-895 So this is something that we be available in the release of Umbraco Forms.
Unfortunately I am not able to get you an exact date on when the Umbraco 4.2.2 version we be final release.
But when it marked as fixed then you can download the latest nightly from here, http://nightlies.s1.umbraco.io/?container=umbraco-forms-nightlies if the final release is not released yet.
Hope this helps,
/Dennis

The ticket mentions a plugin you can use until it's support in the core of Umbraco Forms: https://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/umbraco-forms-cache-refreshers-for-flexible-load-balancing/
is working on a reply...
