    UI.xml errors

    Hi,

    Can I edit the file /umbraco/config/create/ui.xml without restarting the web application?

    Hi Michael

    I don't think that it's possible since the changes won't take effect unless the the app pool is recycled.

    But what kind of issues are you having? And are you adding changes to a live site? Can you ellaborate a bit more about your scenario?

    Hi Jan,

    My UI.xml was re-newed after umbraco upgrade and old plugins sections was removed.

    Hi Michael

    Ok - But then it should be a matter of adding those changes back. But you can't escape the app pool recycling.
