    Recaptcha - V1 Shutdown on 2018-03-31

    Hi Guys,

    I've started seeing this message on my recaptcha boxes:

    V1 Shutdown on 2018-03-31 Direct site owners to g.co/recaptcha/upgrade

    Are there any upgrades in place?

    Hi Darren,

    There are a couple of packages out there that give you access to Recaptcha v2. The one I use when ever I'm using Umbraco Forms is https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/umbraco-forms-on-perplex-steroids/ as it gives you all sorts of little goodies to improve forms :-)

    Sebastian has uploaded a patch package here: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/CON-941#

    I've just tried it and all seems good so far. I did need to generate a new public/private key for Recaptcha and then add those values into the UmbracoForms.config file.

    Hi Guys,

    Just an update on this, I ended up installing the following plugin:

    https://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/recaptcha-field-for-umbraco-forms/

    This fixed the problem, just make sure you set your google keys up first.

    Hi guys,

    I am trying to install recaptcha for the first time. Can you please tell me the steps to do it. I can't find and proper documentation for this.

    I have few questions

    1. I installed the recaptcha and added the field but it doesn't support localhost, How do I test it on localhost?
    2. Where do I need to put the keys in the web.config or in the Umbracoforms.config?
    3. What will be the name of the keys?

    Any help would be appreciable.
