    Umbraco Contour 3.0.31 + Recaptcha v1

    Hi All, I'm using umbraco 7.5.14 with contour forms 3.0.31. We have a inbuilt (not sure) recaptcha within contour which we were using and now I see the following message

    Can anyone help in upgrade process to Recaptcha v2? Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    Am not sure if this supports the version you are using but if not you can use it to create your own field type for the new ReCaptcha

    Thanks for your reply!

    No this isn't supported with umbraco contour. The package needs Umbraco Forms as a "pre-requisite". Do you know how to proceed with umrbaco contour?

    If someone hasn't written a package for it, you would need to create you're own custom field type.

    You could use some of the package I linked code to as the ReCaptchaparts will be correct.

    Hi Mathew,

    Could you share the custom field type code? How do I specify the custom field type to use recaptcha v2? Do I need to buy a new key for the private and public keys or can I use the same that i used for v1? Thanks a lot for quick answers/suggestions

    Hi Santhosh,

    If I had the code I would of shared it unfortunately I don't have it.

    As far as Keys for Google ReCaptcha they are free. You can get them from https://www.google.com/recaptcha/

    Hi Mathew, A question - Umbraco forms comes with v7.5.14 if I'm right. That means I can install the package https://our.umbraco.org/projects/collaboration/recaptcha-field-for-umbraco-forms/

    Not sure, what could be the problem during installation. Let me enable the logs and check
