    Umbraco Forms and GDPR

    Version: Umbraco 7.5.1 | Umbraco Forms 4.4.4

i am sure i read somewhere that the Umbraco Forms package would include a GDPR-compliant 'don't save this data in the database' setting which would prevent the data from being saved in the database.

Is it available? Where can i find that setting?

I have had a look around, but i cant find a page which explains how this is done.

I know GDPR is more complex than simply not saving, but i am limiting my question to this for the moment.

    many thanks

    Hi Fergus,

I believe you need to upgrade both Umbraco and Umbraco forms to get the GDPR settings.

Version 7.9 for Umbraco and version 7 for Forms are considered the GDPR updates:

That would be why you can't find the settings you are looking for. :-)

    Thanks

    Nik

No worries, with so many links and things around it's easy to miss. Pleased to help :-)
