My user quite commonly sends over images that require me to replace them later on do to discrepancies in the image quality but the image is currently being utilised across the entire website (50+ pages)
https://trackeasy.fun/usps/https://showbox.tools/
When in the Media section and I select the image to be replaced, click remove file and replace with the new file. I click save but the old image remains. The only way I can use this new image is to create a new media file which is completely impractical.
Does anyone else have this issue and have you come across a solution? I really don't know what I'm doing wrong...
It's not super ideal but If you have Azure Storage Explorer from Microsoft. you can connect directly to the blob storage and copy the files over locating the media folder and drag/dropping the file on to them.
depending on how you are using caching/CDN's etc, you might need to clear things out, but if you directly replace one file with another with the same name, Umbraco will serve the new one up in its place.
