According to the umbraco.org website Concierge tracks dependencies for files, macro's and templates.
Does it also work for content ?
And ofcourse for media
Anybody ?
Just bumping this topic to get my question answered :-)
Sadly not :(
Hi,
Anyone have any more knowledge or info on this one? Finding it hard to find what I need or any detailed information.
Essentially I want to know if a warning will be displayed when a user deletes a file from the media repository which is being used by a content page.
Any one have any ideas? Can we use the concierge dependency tracking for this?
Thanks,
Matt

Nope Concierge doesn't do that
I did see a community package that showed you where media was used but can't seem to find it, was done by the guys from farm digital a while back
Ah found it: http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/thefarm-media-link-checker not sure if it works on vcurrent
Thanks Tim
That looks like what we're after but doesn;t look like it has been updated for new versions unfortunately, I will investigate
Appreciate your responses,
Cheers,
Yeah might be worth pinging http://www.aaron-powell.com/ to see if he can share the sourcecode so you can use it as a starting point
Thanks - when we have the resources to extend this I will drop him a line
appreciate your help
