    is Concierge only available as a paid option

    I'm currently looking for a CMS for a new website project I'm looking to build, the ability to version documents is required, concierge appears to have a number of features that would be very useful. 

    It seems that it is only available as a paid for option though, is this correct?

    Yes it's paid only (€99) 

    What do you mean by 'the ability to version documents'?  Umbraco has some document versioning built in.
