If I set up a form, and allow a user to have access to the form with "Read Only" or "Read Only And Download" permissions, when the user logs in, they can still access and edit workflows for the form. If their access is read only, shouldn't they be locked out of editing the workflows as well?
I've updated to 1.1.3 and it's still letting me see the workflows in both the left hand tree and in the forms editor page top menu. User has access to Contour, and ReadOnly or ReadOnly and Download for all forms currently in the system. Any ideas?
It is, because I want them to be able to edit workflows for the forms they've created, just not the ones that they only have read only access to. Is that not possible at the moment?
Sounds like a bug then, just fixed it in the 1.1.4 WIP version, just get the latest update archive and if you are running 1.1.3 just update the umbraco.forms.ui.dll and the umbraco.forms.core.dll
Permissions Bug?
Can anyone confirm if this is a bug or by design?

Scratch that, it hides them in the top menu, but it still appears in the left hand menu (running umbraco 4.0.4.2).

Hi Tim,
And the manage workflows checkbox is that checked for the user? (shoudln't be if you don't want him to access workflows).
Cheers,
Tim

Get it here: http://nightly.umbraco.org/Umbraco%20Contour/1.1.4%20WIP/
Spot on, that's sorted it, thanks Tim!
:)
One of my clients was merrily breaking a load of complex workflows that he shouldn't have been able to, now he can't do it any more!

if you are using send to page on a form, get the latest build, since there was an error in the previous one
is working on a reply...
