Upgrade from 1.0 to 1.1 fixing non preserved line breaks in workflow?
I'm trying to find out if it is (a) possible and (b) straight forward, to upgrade contour version 1.0 to the latest version (1.1).
I have an issue using the email workflow, where line breaks specified in the message field are not preserved in the actual email body. I'm hoping the upgrade will fix this issue. Hopefully someone can also let me know if the upgrade will fix the bug?
Thanks sebastiaan. But do you mean the "UmbracoContour_1.1.3_update.zip" file? I only ask because the page talks about the filename containing the word "upgrade", but this file contains the word "update". To me update implies updating a specific version. Uprade implies a change of version. I just want to be sure... :-)
Thank you, Sebastian. I'm really sorry to keep harping on about this. But can you paste the link to the zip file as I cannot find the file "UmbracoContour_1.1.3_upgrade.zip", only "UmbracoContour_1.1.3_update.zip", the link for which is: "http://our.umbraco.org/FileDownload?id=1441". Please confirm. I will mark your response as the reply solution! :-)
Aaah, I see now! Yes, the files is named inconsistently, but rest asured: the update file that you've linked to is the correct file!
Make sure to backup the folders that you're overwriting by the way!
FYI: The update/upgrade to 1.1.4 will be available later this week, with more bugfixes (not sure if your request is in there either). At least in 1.1.3 you can send an XSLT translated mail, so you can add linebreaks wherever you want.

Not sure if that is fixed, but the upgrade notes are in the package description.
Thanks Sebastian.
I already looked at that page. It says: "Download the Contour_1.1.3_upgrade.zip and unzip its contents in the root of your website"
But I can't see the file to download called "Contour_1.1.3_upgrade.zip". I can only see an update. I'm probably just not seeing it.
It's a bit hidden, all the way at the bottom of that page! :-)

No you need the upgrade file, and yes it will upgrade you to the newest version, which is what you need. :-)
