We have 3 sites running off 1 umbraco installation which works a treat. One of these sites already has a license for contour (sitting pretty in the bin folder). Now 1 want to purchase 2 more licenses for the remaining domains.
1. Am I right in assuming that I will need a new license file for all 3 domains?
2. How do I go about "upgrading" the existing license to incorporate these 2 extra domains?
3. The original license was purchased through a different account on the Umbraco website, can I get this moved into My Licenses in my profile?
Re: 1/2 I believe that is correct, although I'm not 100% on how you'd have 3 licenses at the same time, as there's only one license file. Might be worth contacting the guys at HQ via phone or the contact form to get an answer for how that would work.
For 3, you can, one of my clients had some of the stuff I set up for them transferred to their acount once I handed it over to their inhouse teams. All we needed to do was send an email from the account that the license was bought through, requesting it be transferred t the second acount. It can take a few days to go through though.
