Separate text/value for a dropdown list item field?

Is there a way to specify a list item value that differs from it's text to the user? Or am I missing something?

When I click on edit items of a dropdown, it only seems to let me add single values to it, not text/value pairs.

    Thanks for any input.

Hi Tim. Thanks for the response, you saved me some time on researching. Hopefully the Contour team will consider adding text/value pairs for dropdowns natively in the future. This is a very common functionality in almost all form builders I've seen within a variety of different CMS's.

    Thanks again,
    Mike
