We have a customer who used Contour to host a quiz for an iPad 2. over 36.000 answers where gathered and now the customer wants to export the answers to pick a winner.
If we export the answers, the Umbraco installation either times out or halts the entire Umbraco solution.
Have you tried using the "Export" button at the top of the Entries viewer, as opposed to the icons on the top right of the table? IIRC the top-right icons use javascript so could possibly be unreliable if you have that many records. Maybe the other method will handle them better.

Hi,

Ok, could you try updating one of the files found in the xslt folder of contour with this:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14228187/excel.xslt
should be in /umbraco/plugins/umbracocontour/xslt/
That should fix the issue
So right you are Tim, fixed it!
Thanks a lot :-)
