    How to get caption in custom fieldType

    Hello,

    I'm writing a custom fieldtype, and i'm trying to get the caption the user entered in the setting of the field (rendered in a label tag in the form)

    Is there a way to do this ? I'd rather avoid to add a custom fieldSettingType for this.

    Hi,

    Not tested this, but have you tried:  this.AssociatedField.Caption ?
