This is an old problem, i know, but what is the progress on this and are there any workarounds?

I need to output contour forms through razor, and the reasons for this are varying. We have tried several uglyish workarounds, like having a macro picker and outputting it on the bottom of the page, but none of them are any good.

Rendermacrocontent doesn't work, since it drops the viewstate.
