Creating Folders to House Contour Forms

    System: Umbraco Version - 4.7.1 ,Windows Server 2008 – 8gb memory – 4 Zeon 2.27Ghz processors service pack 1 – 64 bit OS , IIS version 7.5.7600.16385, SQL Server 2008 R2, Stacktrace - N/A

This is a followup to discussion http://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-pro/contour/9307-Contour-and-300plus-forms which has had very little activity in a year, but it supports this request.

We have numerous programs at our university who want to create Contour forms. We expect the number to exceed 100. It is essential to have folders to place these forms in.  It makes it quite unwieldy to have only a single node level.  This is a paid component of Umbraco Pro, and having a folder system is a fairly basic requirement. Imagine if Microsoft made you put all your word docs in a single folder. The Media and Content areas support folders.

Please add folder functionality to Contour.

    Thank you.

    Hi all,

great job, I see that now with v 3.0.7 I can create folders by naming the forms using the "folder/formname" format.

It would be helpful if user permissions can be configured by folder too and not only by single form, at least for the "Has Access" setting. This would be a great feature for next releases.

    Thanks

    Matteo
