for example, I want to translate button NEXT, I create a dictionary item named NEXT, then ,translated it. then, I set my site as my own languages. I found NEXT is still there.
If am not mistaken, contour dictionary items are case sensitive so try using "Next" instead.

Contour 1.1.3.2 can't be translated with Umbraco 4.9
