Photo Voting with Contour

Say I have an image gallery page - could I use Contour out of the box as some sort of voting system?

For example a page with 10 photos, a vote button under each one, votes stored and displayed, only one vote per person per gallery?

How would the voting look like, just a thumbs up? Think umbraco relations would be a better fit for this http://umbraco.com/follow-us/blog-archive/2012/12/7/getting-to-know-umbraco-relations.aspx
