Show a "please wait" between form steps

    Hi guys,

Some of our forms are quite large and require an upload of a number of images. We'd like to give some feedback to the user that things are being done when they click "Next" and the form partially submits or clicks "Submit" on the final page, that something is going on and the website hasn't just frozen.

I've been having a little look around the code and I can't really decide the best way to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to implement this?

I'm not sure I can do it in Javascript. I can obviously call a function on the submit button or catch the submit with the jQuery .submit(), but if for example a mandatory field hasn't been filled in, this is no good as the wait will continue to show.

I'm sure there probably is a way to do it in the JS but I didn't want to spend too much time figuring it out just in case someone here might have a better suggestion on how to do this.

    Any thoughts?
