    installing contour brought down website -

    Installing the developer section of my umbraco instance brought down my site!!!!

    Fixed it by pulling the System.Web.Mvc.dll off my personal PC and put it in the bin folder of the umbraco instance on my server

    Thanks Mike. I ran into the exact same issue and copying that dll into the Umbraco bin fixed it for me as well. I guess the root of the error is because I'm still running Umbraco v4.7, but perhaps the Contour install package should include the Mvc dll just in case?
